Zeb Lawson capped a fine debut season at Rangers by scoring two stunning goals to clinch the CAS Elite League for the 19s on Friday then he featured for the first-team at Falkirk less than 24 hours later.
The 17-year-old Englishman, who joined last summer after impressing for Brighton’s youth teams, enjoyed a whirlwind weekend as he struck twice against St Mirren to clinch a 2-1 win and the title for Malky Thomson’s side then he was called into the senior squad the next day.
Lawson made his Light Blues debut against Annan at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup in January and he was given another deserved run-out for Danny Rohl’s side at Falkirk.
Aiden McCallion and Ashton Scally were also handed their first-team debuts in the 5-2 victory and Zeb was delighted to finish Season 2025/26 on such a high.
Speaking as he showed his support for The Rangers Youth Development Company – who donated another £300,000 to the Academy in February, making it more than £12.5 million since 2002 – the talented forward says he could not have asked for a better debut campaign in Glasgow.
He said: “It was the best feeling ever to score the goals that won the league for the 19s against St Mirren and then to play for the first-team again the next day was just incredible.
“Whenever you’re stepping onto the pitch for Rangers, it’s already a good feeling. But I was over the moon to get two goals including that late free-kick.

“It was a tough game for us but we got the result and it was great to lift the trophy and get the medal after the game.
“I couldn’t have asked for more in my first season at Rangers.
“Coming up from England, you don’t really know what to expect, but I have played for the first-team twice already and helped the Academy win the CAS Elite League.
“When you put the hard work in, it shows on the pitch and once it shows on the pitch, you get the opportunities that you need to deliver.
“The 19s squad is one of the best squads that I’ve been in and I’ve enjoyed every second of it.
“I have great team-mates and all of them have been amazing, so credit to every one for beating St Mirren and winning the league.
“It was a hard game for us and when we got that free-kick just outside the box near the end I wanted to take it.
“There were nerves and my heart was racing but I was like, “You know what? I’ve got the quality to do this,” and once I stepped up and hit it, I knew it was going in.
“I had family at the game too and it was great to do that in front of them.
“We have a lot of quality in our dressing room and I am so happy to be at Rangers.

“It is literally the stuff of dreams and because of weekends like this, more opportunities should open up for me next season.
“I will have a couple of weeks off now, chill and then put even more hard work in so I come back for pre-season even better.
“Moving to Rangers has been amazing. Honestly, it’s just been amazing and I can’t put it into words.
“I get to work with so many talented players, coaches and staff at the Academy.
“It’s a team game and we get results as a team.
“From the analysis people to the sports scientists to the coaches. The game plan was just right against St Mirren and I guess we put it into action.
“It’s a shame the season is ending for me as I have really enjoyed it but I am already excited about next year.”
