The prize structure for Rangers Lotto will change for the 2025/26 season with big money available at the end of each month.
We have maintained the same prize structure since Lotto’s launch in 1994 and our new structure will now be in line with many large scale UK Lottery Operations.
We have weeks where prizes are split between several winners, meaning that the amounts are nice to win, but not significant enough to do anything with.
It has also been noticeable for some time that many of our £20 prizes are not being claimed, given their relatively low value.
Many winners advise that they would rather the prize be donated to our youth programme. This is very admirable and certainly welcomed.
It is due to both above instances that we have decided to change our prize structure to allow for greater prize amounts to be guaranteed on a regular basis.
Our new prize structure, starting from Week 1 of the new season, will be:
A typical 4 week month
Aug 7: 4 prizes of £250
Aug 14: 4 prizes of £250
Aug 21: 4 prizes of £250
Aug 28: A guaranteed minimum of £12,000 will be won
A typical 5 week month
Oct 2: 4 prizes of £250
Oct 9: 4 prizes of £250
Oct 16: 4 prizes of £250
Oct 23: 4 prizes of £250
Oct 30: A guaranteed minimum of £15,000 will be won
Every four week month will be like the above August example, and a typical five week month will be similar to the October example above.
The large monthly prize amounts will increase as more fans play. We can increase this amount to a maximum of £25,000 per month.
These large prize amounts will be won every month. They will not roll over to the following month but we will have a guaranteed winner of a minimum of £12,000 every month.
The current monthly rollover will cease, as will the Wednesday £1,000 draw and £20 for matching 3 balls.
We hope you will appreciate why we are updating our prize structure and will also appreciate the larger, more regular prizes that will be paid out.
