Lifelong Rangers fan John Daley was presented with a Big Blue Jackpot prize of £16,414 by Head Coach Danny Rohl recently and you can win big money just like him.

John scooped RYDC’s end-of-month Rangers Lotto Jackpot for December and he attended the pre-Annan media conference with Rohl and Academy graduate Liam Kelly at the training ground.

It was a pleasure to host him and pal Craig and he is the latest supporter to win our jackpot this season.

Fellow fans Iain McHolm, Josephine Mackie, Elizabeth Thomson and David Watson have all won by playing Rangers Lotto and another bumper prize of at least £12,000 is available at the end of January.

John, who has been playing Lotto for more than two decades was delighted with his win and is encouraging fans to keep supporting RYDC.

He said: “I thought it was a wind up when I got the call at first but what a great start to 2026.

“I’ve been playing Rangers Lotto for about 20 years, I signed up for Direct Debit, and I couldn’t believe the amount when I was told.

“I’ve given some to my family and my daughters so we have all shared in the win.

“RYDC invest the money well as it goes to the Rangers Academy so I would encourage fans to do the same. It’s just a pound a week.

“I had a great day at the training ground and it was nice to meet Danny Rohl and a few players like Jack Butland.

“I used to be a goalkeeper, I’ve played in goal since I was at school, and I’ve seen great ones like Andy Goram and Allan McGregor playing for Rangers.

“I remember seeing Allan getting his chance here when he was young Academy player and you could see he was going to be a good one for us.

“It was nice to hear Liam Kelly, who has come through the Academy, speaking at the press conference.

“I loved it and I brought my pal Craig who is a season ticket holder too.

“It was great to be able to see inside the training ground. It is phenomenal.

“Everyone is committed and when Liam was speaking you could tell he hadn’t forgotten where he came from.

“He had to wait for his chance at Rangers but when he’s had it, he has taken it.

“It’s always nice to see players coming through the Academy.

“I’ve been a fan all my life and I’ve seen some great teams.

“The best has to be 9-in-a-Row and Walter Smith’s time when we had guys like Gazza and Brian Laudrup.

“I’m a Rangers fan and I will die a Rangers fan. The club means so much to so many people

“I said that to Danny Rohl when I was talking to him.

“He’s brought the belief back to the club. The fans are behind him and the togetherness is there.

“We’ve had a great start to the year and winning 3-1 at Celtic was some result.

“The feel-good factor is coming back.

“Good luck to all the fans who buy Lotto tickets in the future. Keep playing. I’d definitely encourage everybody to do it.

“It’s a great investment. It’s Rangers, our club. One big family.”
