Congratulations to Rangers Academy graduate Findlay Curtis who scored his first senior goal for the Light Blues in the 2-2 draw with Club Brugge at Ibrox.
New manager Russell Martin handed the young attacker a start in the pre-season friendly against the Belgian side and he impressed throughout.
Martin’s men fought back from 2-0 down to earn a draw and 19-year-old Curtis was the hero with a composed equaliser late in the game.
He was thrilled to find the back of the net in a first-team game and is hoping to make an impact in the season ahead.
Findlay told RangersTV after the match: “I am speechless, I am buzzing and I was glad to see it go into the back of the net.
“I expected the pass from Nedim as we have been working on that all week in training but I was buzzing.
“I have been dreaming of that moment for a long time. I have been at the club since I was six and to do it at Ibrox was special.
“I have to thank everyone for helping me get to this point and now I have to keep working hard.
“This season, I want to start as many games as I can and I want to do well.

Academy prospects Josh Gentles and Zander Hutton also made appearances to feature for the first-team for the first time at Ibrox and Curtis was delighted to share the moment with them.
He added: I was really pleased for Zander Hutton and Josh Gentles getting on as well.
“They have been working hard in training so they deserved that moment and I thought they did very well.
“We started sloppy but at half-time the gaffer had a bit of a go at us and I thought in the second half we did very well.
“Since last season I had to get my fitness up as the gaffer wants that energy in the team.
“The gaffer has told me to do what I do. He has watched previous games and he thought I did well.
“Now I want to start as many games as I can, that’s my main goal.”
